Actually I just post this greetings to show off my heartsy accessories which I got from Ashley Pearls and Gems in BQ Mall, Bohol.
Definitely, this couple now has a very explosive day!
The service water is cute with the slice of
If you have nothing better to say, then you better shut up. And, that’s how Ulli’s is for me.
The one in the smaller bowl is a (invisible)noodle soup, the bigger bowl is fisherman’s catch.
The drinks. Signature iced tea was powder.
Ulli’s located at the new wing of Ayala. I think it’s by the Cafe Laguna restos.
This is just half the paper I had to do for reserving a venue for the Athletes Talk. But I can’t complain since I’m not doing any thing to improve it.
First time to travel not with Mark. Hesitant but was glad to do it that i made a pact with the girls that we should make it an annual activity.
So it was a trio with I, Leah, and Chay (all the way from Cavite). We arrived Friday afternoon.
After putting down our stuff at our room? Off we went to hunt something to eat. The BQ mall was just 2 blocks from
Hotel we stayed.
But we thought of eating something not in the mall. We ended up:
The Buzz Cafe
I think it’s by the Bee Farm. It’s in Gallerua Luisa, at the back of BQ Mall.
The food had that “organic” healthy beat except that i find them all too sweet. But still definitely a must try!
The “couple” Xtin & Onad came to welcome us. It’s so sweet of them despite their busy sched.
Another reason why you try this place because it has this quaint view.
Couple’s Wedding Car, which is really their car
We went around. I wanted to get a footsy fitting to wear for a wedding event.
(We should have some shades for group selfie on our next trip.)
We went back to BQ Mall, and it reminds me of the old Gaisano department stores in Colon And, suddenly, I felt I’m now a girl from a big city.
The shoe purchase ended up with some matching blings from Ashley Gems:
I and the friends swear, i got some cuteees! It’s my first purchase of some arm candies!
We promised to do some partying at the “bar.” We got a few recommendations from the locals. One was in the topmost floor of BQ mall which we right away exited when we saw it was really more of beer joint w/ videoke, and dominated with boys.
So we decided to check the other “bar “place,” The Atmosphere, which is actually in the place we’re staying MetroCentre.
We went up to our room first to unload our stuff. But must be the with the age, we ended sleeping instead of “partying.”
(Last selfie before sleepy. I pretended to be the tomboy among us.)
The lesson of the day, “we’re really getting old.”
I was telling that us resemble those “old ladies friends” doing travels when they do group selfie.
It’s my rule that Friday, there will be no “hard labor.” And, tomorrow we’re going to Bohol for reason which cannot be said. No. It will not be a running event. =) But the friends and I promised to do an early run to Cafe Lawis for breakfast. I’m not sure if they’re open though. But for the one time I had been to Bohol, I think Cafe Lawis should not be missed. (More about it here >>.)
Things to do before my weekend, and before I do IG-worthy moments at Bohol:
* The Athletes Talk video. Gawd, I’m so bad with handling videos. Plus the rest of the video is in android phone. F%#^%#$&%#&#^%&^% transferring data from android to an iOS device. =|
* Set up a teaser post for the Trail Running 101 Talk this Feb. 13, 2014. Pls join us! I’ll post details on http://runroo.com.
* Shoot email to the dear runroo contributors!
* and the many…. ENOUGH!
How can I pull it off?!? I still need to do some grocery / food stocking before I left, and find Meg’s red beans and mussel (I think it’s tahong) for her project this Saturday.
Sigh! My made-up busy list! =)

at Ayala Center Cebu’s New wing:
I felt people dining there were chuvaness followers, which included me (was a follower of her early blogging days).
I like the pepper part of the food.
I went to SM ‘lacion get a dress, but I came home with a running shoes… and a so-so dress because my maximum for going to the dressing room is only 5.
This was the 1st dress. I like it but it was too short. Or maybe this was only a blouse.
There were more I tried at “for me” shop but for some reason, it just did not feel “for me.” Their stuff makes me feel I need to be skinnier and fairier, and gaahhh girlier.
So I went to plus size section in SM dept store. But i got sidetripped to the shoes dept, and got myself merrel barefoot, which was on sale. I love this model to bits (see above)!
At the dress section, a sales staff was nice enough to suggest a dress that would hide my belly. But it was that gaahhh boring color dress.
And, I don’t really care about my belly showing. Thing is if I’m fat, i’m really fat whatever the dress is.
So this was probably the most fashionable dress i picked. But it seems it need more boobs because the design in the chest area ended up looking like a blanket thrown over me so yeah, i skipped it.
I settled for this. When all things get too confusing, just pick the brightest color. So yeah, i got myself a “pambahay.” Because i got too dizzy — of going back and forth to the fitting room — to care!
Because, it’s a sin not to share the “work of art.” These are all by Mark Deutsch.
My 2014 plan is from Neil Gaiman’s New Year wish post >>:
“And for this year, my wish for each of us is small and very simple.
And it’s this.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”
So my 2014 plan is I WILL MAKE MORE MISTAKES!!!
I passed by at National bookstore earlier to get some stash of books for Meg.
I cannot resist to “check” the pen section, and was delighted that Pilot pens (especially the “gel type”) now come in fancy packaging.
But I’m happy that I was only able to get 2 pens, and not more!
The National bookstore price tag is still ugly and badly sticked to the pens. When will it ever change? 😐
I have not much photos because this…
My first baby! 🙂
First communion is supposed to be “romantic” event but I was disappointed with it. There’s too much unnecessary fanciness in it. I don’t think there’s a need for laminated certificate, giveaways, and such.
To top it off, the priest’s sermon was about these 2 men. One was into pornography, and tried to rape the very nice 12yr old girl, who died because being a good girl she refused to have sex. The other man discovered his friends looking at “bold” magazines inside the church.
So the lesson of the girl’s story is it’s better to die than to sin. What the f*ck was her sin? If she would accept to have sex so she would not die, then she is sinful?!?
Seriously, the kids there are 9-year olds. What do they know about rape and pornography?!? Thank you, father, for introducing it to them.
Though, I know these kids are not at all “innocent” but there are probably more beautiful sermons and stories to share on a child’s 1st communion. That was probably not the best time. I mean he can talk about honesty, hardwork, selflessness, or just plain random fable tales instead of rape and pornography.
Thank you, father, for ruining MY memory of my kid’s 1st communion. I felt raped.
