Toys

Despite the birthday-pista-christmas-only time to buy toys, there’s still too much made-in-china trinkets in this house – from happy meal/kiddie meal to ‘binitay’ toys from the merkado.

So next year, no more little trinkets of toys to help save mother earth.

On the other side of the tree, i’m feeling nostalgic looking at the broken pieces of toys. In each piece of toy, I see my kids hugging them at night when they’re still new, play pretend with them, and even the fights they had over them, which makes it more harder to throw/give them away. =( That’s why they pile up for years of keeping them – or more of trying to keep the ‘memories’ that comes with them.
