I got myself the contact lens I’ve been talking about the other day. I thought the hardest part of having contact lens is when you’re wearing it. I was imagining it can be so uncomfy. But no, I felt nothing while wearing it.
It’s the putting on and off that really turned me off. The ‘eye doctor’ taught me how to wear it and remove it before going out of the eye shop. After 2 or 3 tries of putting the contact lens, I felt like backing out. But since, I could no longer return the purchase, I might as well take time to learn the trick. It took me and the doctor some time to finally attached the lens to my eyeballs. I could see her sigh with relief. And, that was the first, and might be the last, of me wearing the contacts.
I just do not like the idea of poking my eyeballs. I can’t help but imagine blood spurting out of my eyes. So the day after, I got a pliers and tweak the broken frame of my glasses. =) Now, I’m sporting some twisted eyeglasses.
I don’t know if I would still have the courage to try wearing the contacts again.
**something I learned: the higher the astigmatism, the more pricey the contact lens.
